Vanetta Monique Mcguire

With deep sadness, yet with appreciation for a life well lived and a good name made with Jehovah, we announce that our beloved Vanetta Monique McGuire has gone to sleep. A deeply loved wife, mother, grandmother, sister, aunt, and friend, Vanetta passed away on August 3, 2026, at the age of 61, with her family holding her hands. Vanetta was born on February 28, 1965, in Orange County, California, to Jeanette McDaniel and Gerald Harris. Though her childhood was not always easy, the faith and resilience of her grandmother, Lizzie McDaniel, helped shape the strong woman of faith she became. On August 24, 1984, Vanetta married her first and only love, Jeffrey. For more than 40 years, they built a life centered on love, family, and faith. They truly were each other’s joy, rarely spent a day apart, supported one another through life’s highs and lows, and especially loved dancing together. Vanetta loved being a mother and worked hard to make sure her daughters were loved, supported, and cared for. She was their cheerleader and an example of strength and perseverance. Most importantly, she encouraged them to develop their own relationship with Jehovah, often reminding them that their real, secure “401(k)” was with Him. Being a grandmother brought her tremendous joy as well. She loved her grandchildren dearly and shared an especially close bond with her granddaughter Sade, who spent much of her childhood by her side. Vanetta loved people and bringing them together. She enjoyed hosting gatherings filled with family, friends, good food, and plenty of laughter. Bubbly, warm, excitable, and full of personality, she loved butterflies, a good game of UNO, and was famous for her mustard greens and fried chicken. For nearly 40 years, she worked at Corona Regional Medical Center, most notably as a unit secretary, where she was known for helping wherever needed, advocating for patients, and being the “motor” that kept the floor running. Vanetta’s love for Jehovah was an important part of who she was. She enjoyed sharing the Bible hope that meant so much to her and encouraging others wherever she went—whether in the ministry, at work, or simply with someone who needed a kind word. Vanetta will be remembered for her love, loyalty, strength, joyful spirit, and the way she showed up for the people she loved. She leaves behind her beloved husband, Jeffrey; daughters, Sabrina, Keyshuana, and Brandi; sons-in-law, Phil, Collen, and Chris; grandchildren, Braylen, Brendan, and Sade; her siblings, including LaCheryl, with whom she shared a particularly close bond; and many beloved nieces, nephews, family members, and friends. Her family and friends find comfort knowing that Vanetta is peacefully resting, awaiting the time when they can welcome her back into their arms in the promised Paradise earth.
