Roca Our loving father passed away peacefully on July 31, 2026, leaving behind a lifetime of love, strength, service, and memories that will live on through the family he cherished. Milton’s journey began in Ecuador, where he was born with dreams that reached far beyond the circumstances he was born into. With hope in his heart and determination in his spirit, he came to the United States and built a life defined not by where he started, but by everything he chose to create. Through hard work, perseverance, and unwavering love for his family, he turned those dreams into a legacy that still stands today. Milton proudly served his country during the Vietnam War, carrying with him the courage, dedication, and strength that would remain a part of who he was throughout his life. His name, Milton, carries the meaning of a place of strength and settlement, while Roca means “rock.” Those meanings seemed fitting for a man who became a rock for the people he loved—steady, strong, protective, and always leaving something lasting behind. One of Milton’s greatest love stories began with the girl in the red dress—the woman who became his beloved and strong wife, Lizette. Together, they built a family, but also something even greater: a home. In his lifetime as a general contractor and an accomplished real estate businessman, Milton built many homes for his family, but the one that still stands today became more than just a house—it became a foundation for generations. Every branch of his family has passed through its doors, and it remains a place of safety, belonging, and refuge. No matter where life has taken them, it has always been a place they could return to, because he made sure they would always have somewhere to go. Milton leaves behind his beloved wife, Lizette, four daughters, Adrianne, Jill, Monica and Pamela, six grandchildren, Nicole, Nick, Agustin, Gisel, Brianna and Brent, five great-grandchildren, Annalise, Victor, Aurora, Zariah and Sarina, and one great-great-grandson, Johnathan—a legacy that continues through every generation that carries his name, his stories, and the lessons he taught them. He was more than a husband, father, grandfather, great-grandfather and great-great grandfather. He was a protector, a provider, a veteran, a builder of homes, and a man whose presence became woven into the lives of the people who loved him. His greatest legacy is not only the years he lived, but the foundation of love, safety, and strength he built for his family. Though he is no longer with us, Milton’s memory will remain alive in the family he leaves behind. Like a rock, his foundation will continue to stand—through his children, grandchildren, great-grandchildren, great-great grandchildren and the generations still to come. He came from humble beginnings. He built a life of strength. He created homes and safety for his family. He served his country. He loved deeply. And he will never be forgotten.
