Rhonda Elizabeth Day, beloved mother, grandmother, sister, daughter, aunt, and friend, passed away on June 26, 2026, at the age of 60. Rhonda's greatest joy in life was her family. Her children were her absolute world, and becoming a grandmother brought her even more happiness. She leaves behind her loving children, Ashley, Nicole, Dennis, and Taylor; her beloved sons-in-law, Joshua and Antoine; and her cherished grandchildren, Jordyn, Grayson, Aaron, and Dylan, who were truly the cherry on top of a life filled with love. Rhonda was adopted at birth by her parents, Revis and Louise Frederick who raised her alongside her two sisters, Chrissy and Deborah. Later in life, Rhonda was blessed to reconnect with her birth mother, Carol Enrico, and through that reunion gained a brother, Josh Enrico. In her twenties, Rhonda found Ted Sias, whom she believed to be her birth father. Years later, driven by a desire to learn more about her family history, Rhonda completed a DNA ancestry test. Through those results, she discovered that her biological father was William Bakaleinikoff, who had passed away the year before. Although they never had the opportunity to meet, Rhonda was grateful that her discovery led her to several biological family members, allowing her to make meaningful connections and learn more about her roots. Rhonda was also incredibly blessed with friendships that lasted a lifetime. Her best friends, Rhonda Irmen Kennedy and Tammy Ogle, stood by her through the years, sharing countless memories, laughter, and love. She also shared a special bond with her dear friend Brandi Van Lieu, who was much like a daughter to her and held a very special place in her heart. Rhonda was also a proud and loving aunt who dearly loved her nieces and nephews. Family meant everything to her, and she treasured every opportunity to spend time with those she loved. If you knew Rhonda, you knew how fortunate you were. She had a way of filling every room with her vibrant presence, infectious smile, and warm heart. She never met a stranger and had a remarkable gift for making people feel welcome. Whether at home or traveling, Rhonda made friends wherever she went. Rhonda had a passion for adventure and loved taking cruises, enjoying every destination and every new friendship along the way. She also embraced her love of all spooky things. She enjoyed ghost hunting, exploring haunted places, and visiting the gravesites of famous people—interests that reflected her unique spirit, curiosity, and sense of fun. Rhonda's laughter, kindness, and unforgettable personality will be deeply missed by her family, friends, and all who had the privilege of knowing her. Although she is no longer with us, her love, her light, and the countless memories she created will continue to live on in the hearts of those she touched. Whenever you see a butterfly, think of Rhonda stopping by to say hello—a gentle reminder that love never truly leaves us. May those beautiful moments bring comfort and a smile, just as she always did.
